About Us “Iwatsuka Seika”
In 1947, in the snowy region of Nagaoka, two young men crossed paths and made a bold decision: to establish a rice processing factory that would provide work allowing locals to stay with their families during the harsh winter months. Driven by the desire to ensure that the villagers wouldn’t have to leave for the city to find work, this marked the beginning of the Iwatsuka Seika story. With their unwavering dedication, the factory grew, and the young men, eventually becoming "grandfathers," witnessed the prosperity of their community. To this day, Iwatsuka Seika’s "BEIKA" is crafted from 100% carefully selected Japanese rice. By delivering its flavors, enjoyed daily by people in Japan, to the world while preserving freshness, Iwatsuka Seika continues to uphold the traditions and pride of Japan.
